Once you reach your yacht,  you are already on vacation because from Argentario
you can easily sail to any destination in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Monte Argentario stretches out into the Tyrrhenian Sea just in front of the two southernmost islands of the Tuscan Archipelago: Giglio and Giannutri.
Two strips of land called the tombolo of Giannella and the tombolo of Feniglia joins the peninsula to the mainland enclosing the lagoon of Orbetello, which is a nature reserve of ornithological interest.

On the southern side, the long sandy beach of Feniglia runs without a break until Marina Cala Galera, the tourist port of Porto Ercole.
On the northern side, Porto Santo Stefano offers sheltered moorings from the southern quadrants and provides two more ports: Porto Domiziano and the seasonal landing place of Pilarella.

With a geographical position that can be defined as strategic, the Promontory stands on the border between Tuscany and the province of Rome.  It takes only two hours by car to reach the capital.  If instead, the destination is Rome international airport then the distances are shorter, and it takes only an hour and a half to be connected from the yacht to your international flight, and vice versa.

Roma Fiumicino airport, however, is not the closest to Monte Argentario. In actually, only 50 km away, it is possible to use the private airport in Grosseto, open every day from 09:00 until sunset. Private helicopters can land directly in the Argentario territory.
