The Waszp 2024 Worlds kicks off on August 6, with Ettore Botticini and the Wind Yachts team set to take on the world’s best sailors until August 11 in the most prestigious event in the foiling category. As many as 180 boats from all corners of the globe will do battle, with Australians and New Zealanders among the most formidable athletes.
Racing will take place on two courses, one of which is positioned outside the fjord, adding an extra layer of complexity to the competition. Sailing in restricted waters and with such a large fleet will require not only speed, but also sharp tactical strategy to emerge victorious in this Worlds.
