The interiors of Y7 introduce the fresh Scandinavian design of the Norm Architects studio in Copenhagen to boating,
The saloon has a full size chart table and all the main functions brought to the centre, with an oval dining table that can seat up to eight people and on the left side a large and comfortable sofa.
Finished in smoked oak and stained white, the large windows on the deckhouse’s ceiling enhance the sense of space and give brightness to the entire yacht.

Deck layout
The jib, anchor and manoeuvring positions are elegantly embedded in the exterior look created by Bill Tripp. A tender up to 3.50 metres literally disappears into the stern locker to be easily moved with a lift system integrated into the carbon boom.
All the halyards and sheets of the Y7 run hidden up to the steering columns, where the helmsman can handle the navigation even on solo, probably the only 70 feet that allows it.
The rigging without backstay allows the use of a square-headed mainsail improving the profile and increasing the sail area.
The cockpit, characterized by great versatility, includes on the left the access ladder to the crew quarters, which disappears, perfectly in the seats.

A displacement of fewer than 29 tonnes was achieved using carbon composites and lightweight materials. This ensures that the yacht moves quickly even in light winds.
The twin engines and bow thruster provide extremely easy manoeuvrability. Even in the narrowest marinas, the Y7 has unique manoeuvrability in its size.
