Eagle 38 ORION

Orion was initially purchased by the experienced owner of the better-known classic sailing yacht
to be used as a day sailer on Lake Maggiore in Italy.
She has never been in salt water, which means no wear and corrosion.

Launched in July 2021 as hull N 9 of Leonardo Yachts’ Eagle 38 series,
Orion has always been stored under a protective cover and appears freshly out of the shipyard,
… with even the scent of a brand-new boat!

Developed by the HOECK DESIGN naval architecture, the Eagle 38 has lines of timeless elegance, characterised by a slender hull with long overhangs and low freeboard, reminiscent of classic racing sailboats from the past.
The impeccable level of finish further accentuates the exceptional design.

A sophisticated daysailer designed for single-handed sailing,
the central cockpit is organized so that the helmsman can steer the boat without the need for others’ assistance.
This is made possible by the presence of a self-tacking jib and a mainsheet that is electrically controlled by buttons located a short distance from the steering wheel.
