De Cesari 60 LA GHIBELINA

La Ghibellina is an example of advanced nautical engineering and a symbol of elegance in the world of pleasure craft. This combination of refined aesthetics and high technical performance has led to her being chosen as the jury boat for the Rolex Cup. A role that has underlined the yacht’s reliability and prestige in the context of international nautical competitions.
Laminated construction and the use of fine materials such as mahogany, Kevlar and carbon make La Ghibellina an exceptional showcase for how traditional craftsmanship can be combined with technological innovation to create boats of extraordinary quality and beauty, as well as proven solidity.

La Ghibellina was delivered in 1998 as a fast coastal cruiser to the design
of architect Anselmi Boretti. Equipped with two 440 hp MAN engines that give her
a maximum speed of 24 knots, La Ghibellina captivates with the uniqueness
of her classic lines and is always eye-catching both when moored and underway.

DE CESARI SHIPYARD

The construction of cold moulded hulls using the WEST SYSTEM epoxy technique has introduced a revolution at the Italian shipyard De Cesari of Ravenna. Founded in the 1950s by Adriano De Cesari, and renowned for expert carpentry and traditional wooden construction, the yard is now led by the founder’s son, who began building with laminated mahogany in 1976. The use of only mahogany and teak of the highest quality and Italian workmanship makes each construction a unique jewel and reflects a long family tradition.

The interior is furnished in classic marine-style mahogany. In the saloon, capitonné light leather seating is arranged at an angle to form a dining area for eight or ten people, with the galley opposite along the hull side. Two doors open forward to the guest cabins, each with two bunk beds and a shared bathroom.

The master staeroom is located aft with separate access from the rear deck.
A classic-style chest of drawers divides the two beds, comprising a queen-size bed on the port side and a single bed on the other side. There is a wardrobe and private bathroom with bidet and separate shower.

A crew cabin for two is located in the foredeck, accessible from the outside.
