The SY Lauran is a 35m steel-hulled, luxurious sailing yacht with a high degree of comfort and capable of voyaging without restrictions accommodating up to six guests plus crew.
Her large sail area is easily managed through hydraulic furling headsails, in-mast furling mizzen and full batten mainsail operated by a Lewmar, captive reel winches hidden in a locker. Her “Nirvana” aluminium masts carry a 483 m2 sail area, which is nearly doubled by the use of a “gennaker” flown from the bowsprit.
Advanced manoeuvring technology and two steering positions, one on deck and one in the inner pilot house, make sailing on LAURAN a pleasure in any weather.
Powered by a single 441 kW MAN diesel and equipped with a variable pitch “Hundested” propeller and “Lewmar” bow and stern thrusters, she proves superior manoeuvrability and reliable operation.
