FAR OUT is the seventh in the series of Farr 72s built by Southern Wind Shipyard.
Unlike previous versions, which had a single cockpit, she introduced the double cockpit deck layout, setting a trend that would later be found on the shipyard’s larger models.
A double cockpit and double entrance layout separate the guest area from the manoeuvring cockpit, from which there is also access to the navigation station and crew quarters.
This maximises practicality during navigation and ensures privacy on board.
SW 72 Far Out features classic teak interiors that can accommodate up to six guests in three en-suite staterooms, while four crew members can stay in two crew cabins in the designated area.
The guest area forwards of the saloon occupies the entire bow. It includes the owner’s cabin, a VIP twin cabin and a third cabin with a bunk berth.
Independently accessible from the aft cockpit and separated from the rest of the accommodation by the pass-through galley, the crew area includes the chart table and navigation station.
Far Out has been lovingly maintained by the same owners since 2014.
Several upgrades and refits have ensured that she remains a classy sailing yacht: durable, fast and capable of tackling the most challenging sea conditions.
The yacht is located in Badalona, Spain, and can be seen in the water.
